The Beginning of Fresh Food Diets
Several years ago, Dyets Inc was contacted by Dr. Michael Barratt, a researcher in Dr. Jefffrey Gordon’s lab at Washington University, about the possibiliy of creating pelleted diets from fresh food recipes. The first recipe we worked on was based on the diet of Malawian children.
This study was published in the February 19, 2016 issue of Science. A modified version of this diet containing milk oligosaccharides was also made for them and the results of study were published in the February 26, 2016 issue of Cell. Since then, we have made many different fresh food diets for them.

Our History
Dyets, Inc was founded on July 1, 1979 by Howard L. Yowell and Donald H. Yowell. Over the past 30 years, our hallmark ability to design, prepare, and ship custom diet formulations in a timely manner while maintaining an aggressive pricing policy has been well received by investigtors. Dyets has come a long way since being a two man operation. Since start-up, our view of reinvesting in both equipment and personnel is partially responsible for our very low employee turnover rate. At the present time, our six department leaders have an average of 15 years with our company. We believe speaking with an experienced Dyets employee can soothe the bumps in the road, and we are happy to share our knowledge and expertise with every customer.
